Anushka Sharma holds a Masters in Arts with a major in economics. Anushka wasn't interested in being an actor but rather she was interested in becoming a model or reporter. In the year 2017 Anushka was the first model to debut at the designer Wendell Roricks' Les Vamps Show at Lakme Fashion Week and was selected by the designer to be his finale model at spring 2007's Spring Collection. Anushka's modelling career began at Lakme Fashion Week in 2017. She has since done numerous campaigns, which include campaigns in support of Fiat Palio & Fiat Whisper Nathella Jewelry. Anushka took an acting class and started auditioning for films along with her modelling career. Anushka sharma was the first actress to film in 2008 with Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. The film was a collaboration with Shah Rukh Khan. In preparation for her screening, Anushka Sharma spent all day. She was later signed to three movies by Yash Raj Films. She was the young wife of a man who was older in the film (the exact same character that Shah Rukh Khan played). The film was hit on the box office and was the second-highest-grossing movie of 2008. Anushka Sharma played the role in the movie 'Badmash Company The film was released in 2010. The film also featured Shahid Kapoor and Vir Das. The movie received mixed praises. Anushka was in a movie called Band Baaja Baaraat with Ranveer, where she played an American Punjabi girl from middle-class who starts her wedding planning business. The film received excellent reviews and was widely regarded as an overnight and a huge success. The contract of Anushka's for three films with Yash Raj Films was completed by Band Baaja Baaraat.
